I’ve created these flyers for a school activist project where I bring more attention to the women in history that have been forgotten or ignored. This blog will be an extension of those flyers where I post longer biographies of these women and other bad-ass women like them. Too often women’s achievements have been pushed aside, either by others in their lives, or else by the historians who choose to ignore them. This tumblr is dedicated to celebrating them and bringing their achievements to light!
Can I just say, Cecilia Payne is fully credited with discovering the composition of stars.
Also, Lisa Meitner is also widely recognised as the powerhouse behind nuclear fission and dubbed the ‘Mother of the Atom Bomb’. She is also the holder of many scientific honours and awards. I’m not ‘shitting’ on anyone else. I’m not saying ‘everyone needs this’ I’m talking personally..
You are saying you need what this post is calling a perfect body thus accepting that this is perfect.
The only reason anyone changes anything about them self is to feel more accepted. Would you be happy if you achieved this and everyone you knew started telling you it looked horrible?
Society needs to strip away from this sort of thing, it is not perfect. You are an average shaped and a very pretty girl, yet feel the need to fall into this doctrine of the non-existent perfect body.
Beth, I honestly believe you should surround yourself with people who can tell you how beautiful you are the way you are and prevent yourself from putting your body through this, especially if you’re doing any starving or anything.
Also, I am not saying this is an ugly body shape; my sister has this and yet she still has bits about herself she hates.

I remember when I had cleared out he garage at my mums and stuck a drum kit and a stereo in there.
Every day after I school I would go in there and just listen to music.
It was about the time my first real girlfriend broke up with me and I used this time to feel better.
Two albums I listened to lots and lots during this time were From Them, Through Us, To You (which had all that cathartic, everyone feels this pain feel to it) and I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love (which helped me not care).
Now, the two bands that made these records are calling it.
And it’s like abandonment.
But, it’s okay because they were part of something so important to me and I am forever grateful.
